- people who are covered by suppliers of social assistance services (associations and foundations, local government authorities).
- children aged 18 or less, who are dependent on low-income families or are covered by Law No. 416/2001 regarding the minimum guaranteed income;
- people who get social aid or other financial support paid according to the law;
- any person who cannot generate any income temporarily;
- persons who meet retirement requirements, finding themselves in any of the following situations: they are socially isolated, have no legal supporters, have no income;
- retired persons having lowing financial resources;
- persons in difficulty, assisted by private companies as part of their corporate social responsibility programmes;

Assisted persons using Viva Pass social vouchers get a number of benefits:
- this is a service which is devoted to assisted persons, that relies on principles such as respect for the human dignity and protection of the image of the socially assisted persons. The persons benefit of an easier access to products and services that are strictly necessary in order to overcome the times of difficulty. Viva Pass vouchers can be used in several affiliated facilities and have been created especially to cover the needs of socially assisted persons.
- users of Viva Pass social vouchers, according to the official Sodexo policy whereby the image of socially assisted persons is respected and protected, will be treated with respect and will in no way be discriminated in the affiliated facilities where they use their social tickets.
- payments related to products and services that are provided as part of social assistance programmes are exempted from the income tax.
